The Kentucky Board of EMS was the Administrator of a grant that provided more than 700 Zoll AED Plus units in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A lot of them were given to the Local Health Departments in the Counties and then placed in Fire Departments, Law Enforcement, Schools, Nursing Homes, and other points of large gathering. We are needing your help in contacting any agency that may have received one or more of these units. The Kentucky Board of EMS will be doing the Zoll AED Plus updates to meet the 2005 AHA Guidelines. If you have not had the Zoll AED update completed please review the schedule below and bring your AED to the closest location.
