Reciprocity Minimize

Out of state Paramedics or NREMT Paramedics wanting to obtain Kentucky Paramedic Licensure may do so in two ways:


Out-of-State Paramedic Reciprocity Minimize

Two year licensure for out of state Paramedics wishing to obtain Kentucky Paramedic Licensure. Applicant must have current NREMT-Paramedic Certification and Kentucky Determination of Death Certificate.


 Temporary Paramedic Licensure Minimize

For use only if applicant is UNABLE to meet all of the requirements for ‘Out of State Paramedic Reciprocity’.  The Temporary License allows applicants six (6) months to obtain NREMT-Paramedic Certification and Kentucky Determination of Death Certificate.
